Adam James Wishart Taylor is a producer based in Leeds. He is a producer/composer/engineer and has produced records for artists such as Modern Pleasure, Goodbye Chanel, Nadedja, New Woman, Altar Hanglands, Harry Ridgway, Slow Rivers and many more. As a composer he has had songs in documentaries and films such as The City Talking: Tech In Leeds.
Adam has also worked with producers and songwriters such as Richard Formby, Bryan Wilson, Matt Ingram and Carey Willets.
Being a multi-instrumentalist makes Adam an excellent producer to work with as not only can he fill the gaps that may be missing on tracks but has a wide knowledge of how they should sound. As a musician Adam has played along side / shared the bill with acts such as Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons, Matthew & The Atlas, Wolf Alice, Alabama Shakes, Mystery Jets, All Tvvins, The Magic Gang, Puma Rosa, The Black Lips, Tav Falco, Mike Watt, King Kahn & The BBQ Show, Daedelus, Ulrich Schnauss and many more

Adam has been composing music for various projects for many years. He has had music used in short films, documentaries and also adverts.

Adam has run several studios in Preston/Chorley and Leeds over the last 15+ years, he has worked with several bands on location recordings and also in his new Leeds base. Adam has used various DAW’s over the years including Logic Pro, Ableton, Pro Tools etc. He has also gained experience using analogue recording such as HD24’s, ADAT and Tape.
As well as studio engineering Adam has also worked on location recordings, live sound at venues and also done live mixing for bands.
